Our 1st outing to Sword Bridge Spray Park/Pool!

Sword Bridge Pool is the closest pool to our house. It's actually located on the end of our street, takes us 5 minutes to walk there. :) Castle Hills has a total of 5 community pools. We have access to 4 out of the 5 (can't go to the private gated estate pool whatever!)

This pool also has a spray park attached to it so that's where we started on our first outing there. Emma Kate loved it instantly! Jackson liked it after a few minutes. Spray parks are great...they can stay cool in the water fountains & be running their energy off! Seeing them this happy made Brett & I reassured of our choice to move to Castle Hills!
 There she went!

July Friends Birthday Parties

So far this month we've had 2 sweet friends birthdays to celebrate. July 1st Gracen (aka G Mama) turned 2!! We headed to her bday party at Pump It Up for lots of sliding, jumping, & climbing fun. EK loves it there, Jackson just wanted mama to hold him. We love you Keenes!! Thanks for a fun time. :))

July 9th our friends Matt & Ashley's baby girl, Lily turned 1!! She's the sweetest little red-head! We enjoyed catching up with some friends at her party. The kids loved watching all of the older kids around play.

Pics from G's party first then pics from Lily's.

 Birthday Girl!! Happy 2nd!!

 Cranky J

 Haha!!
 No fear!
I  love being a mom!
 Sweetest face.
Sara wouldn't let me "help" Emma Kate so she got to totally dig into her cupcake. :)

Finally not cranky. He liked the pizza!

Jack spilled water all over his shirt so it was drying. Shirtless at a bday party = stud!

I love this lady! Beth, great to see you!
I found someone to make Jackson look TINY with haha! That's John, Matt's brother in law.

Goodbye Copperfield Lane, Hello Castle Hills

We've officially moved as of July 2nd! I haven't wanted to actually post about us selling/buying because I was being superstitious about the whole thing. Our house went under contract in 27 days, AWESOME realtor Jenn!!
Short story: we decided to look in Castle Hills neighborhood for a few reasons because it's closer to Brett's work (about 25-30 mins now as opposed to 40), closer to my parent's house (4 miles), had outgrown our "starter" house, it's a huge VERY family friendly neighborhood, & we wanted a backyard for the kiddos. We found great house that really fit all our wants/needs.  So far we're loving it! This past weekend was pretty much why we moved here. Saturday morning we played out in the backyard with the kids & after naps walked down the street 5 minutes to one of our community spray park & pools. EK & Jack were LOVING it!!

Unpacking is still coming along. Still waiting for our new living room furniture to arrive in a few weeks so I haven't taken inside pics yet. For now here are some saying bye to the old house & some in front of our new house.

It's emotional for me to think about how much changed & happened to Brett & I in our very first home together. We started out as newlyweds there (married for 5 months.) And 6 years later we became a family there! That was the first door our children came home to, but they probably won't even remember it. Good thing we've taken gazillion pics.

Safari Park

*Sidenote: Sorry for being a bad blogger. Yes, we did move into our new house last weekend & I fully plan on doing a new post about it, just haven't gotten around to taking pics yet.

On a very great note...Brooke (my longtime/lifetime best friend) & her kiddos, Tripp & Vida are back in town visiting for the whole month of July! Super happy when she's here & we get a chance to spend time together! Last week, we went to a new place in Plano, it's a Indoor Safari Park. A wonderful place for kids, especially toddlers (2+ & up). It has big soft jungle gym playareas with slides, ball pits, a trampoline. Then, it has a train the kids ride around on. Lots of train tables, miniture golf holes. Kinda a hodge podge that makes it fun for kids! Plus, it's indoors which means AC during this 100 degree weather. Tripp LOVES trains so we found the perfect place for him! And Emma Kate never stopped playing the whole time!
Here are the pictures from the first visit...yes  we went back again this week ha!
