Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving 2010 is the most thankful I've ever been because of...

These 3 people that are my whole world!

Also, I'm thankful for family, friends, my life in general!! We had a wonderful Turkey Day. We spent the morning watching the Macy's Parade & playing with the babies. Then, I went on a chilly 5 mile run. Got ready & headed over to my parents house for a big thanksgiving with my Mom's side of the family. Great time!!! Here are pictures from today. Tomorrow we're off to Fort Smith, Arkansas to do Thanksgiving with some of Brett's family for the weekend.

Train Park Fun

We love the Train Park in Allen! It's great, because Emma Kate can run all around & in the different buildings & it's totally gated in so I can be holding or strolling Jackson knowing she can't escape. :) A few Mondays ago, we met Monica, Jack, and Gracen there. It was a perfect day for playing!! Then, that weekend we introduced Brett to the Train Park. :)

 Flirting!

Brett turns 3-0!!!

Today was Brett's 30th birthday! I'm so very thankful for the amazing husband & father he is! He is my best friend & I'm looking forward to the next 30 years!
We had a pretty low-key day all together as a family. Playtime all morning, then we went to Stonebriar Mall to pick up his cookie cake I ordered (it's a bday tradition), ate Chick-Fil-A for lunch there, came home so everyone (even our dog, Nash) could take naps. (the family nap makes me happy) My parents came over around 5pm to play with the babies & babysit while Brett & I went out to dinner. Great dinner at Benihana. And we topped the night off with my some hot chocolate from the Bucks while walking around The Shops of Legacy.
** Oh and we had two "firsts" today:
-Emma Kate rode on the carrousel at the mall with Brett!! She really liked it...soooo precious seeing her face pass by on that horse & say "hi Mommy!"
-Jackson started clapping!! He got happy to see me enter the playroom & sit down on the floor beside him & I started clapping then he did too!! So adorable! He did it a couple more times & then later when my parents got here.

 Giving Daddy his cards.

 First time to ride!

 J hanging & watching.

 And they're off...

My sweet girl & I reading.

Happy 30th Birthday Brett!!! I LOVE YOU!!!
