Rice Cereal Time!

Last week, we started feeding Emma Kate rice cereal from a spoon. I had one of those "sappy mom" moments while putting the bib on her and realizing that this milestone is just one of so many more to come.  My princess baby is getting bigger!
We got her all set up in her bib, sat her in the bumbo, and gave it a whirl.  Emma did so well.  She took to the spoon like she had been doing it her while life!  She did get fussy at the end probably because she was tired or didn't like the delay in time it takes to get one bite to the next. I've been making the rice cereal thicker as the week went on and we're going to give oatmeal a try next.  Here are some pics from her first feeding.
