When we found out about Baby #2, Brett & I started thinking about different situations we were going to encounter with having two babies 10 1/2 months apart. A big question was Brett's car. He had a 2 door 3 series BMW which equals no space for 1 let alone 2 carseats. When Emma Kate was born I got an SUV so we figured that would be our main car when we were all together. Throw a second baby into the mix and we quickly realized that infant carseats were going to be around longer than Emma's first year. When Emma Kate is finishing up her time in the infant carseat (1 year & 20 pound requirement) Baby #2 will still have another year in an infant carseat. We have a no car payment rule so we had to make sure to get the trade-in & difference price where we wanted it so we could right the check and be car payment free again! With my Dad we knew this wouldn't be a problem finding the right one & getting the price we wanted. My Dad lives for car deals!! The man is the most amazing person to take car shopping...this time was no different! Here's Brett's 2007 530ci 4 door BMW. We have already taken family outings in it and love it!
Goodbye Old Blue! Nash & Brett saying bye.
New car
Emma Kate had to give it the once over.
She approves!
You two are so smart about the no car payment rule. It took Taylor and I 5 years and (currently) two car payments to realize we hate this situation. So now after the cars are paid off, there will be no car payments anymore.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the new baby and enjoy EK! I can't believe how fast babies grow. Mine is crawling and working on walking (not cool).
