Emma Kate did her very first race! I couldn't have been more proud of her & especially because of what 5k it was, Race for the Cure. We were on our very good friend, Jenn's team. A 5 year breast cancer survivor!!! One of the strongest people I know & we love her!
EK got up at 5 something in the morning so excited, on a really cold morning, & walked, skipped, & ran the whole 3.1 miles. Even better was that Aunt Katie, cousin Lucas, & Uncle Steve did it with us too.
What an excellent cause & race to be her first!

That evening we headed to our neighborhood Fall Festival.
