Cousin's Christmas 2012

December 15, 2012: We had "Cousin's Christmas" at Aunt Barbie & Uncle Steve's house. We were missing my Dad & Uncle Steve because they already had tickets to a football game, but Katie, Barbie, Lolly, Brett, the kids, & I managed to have a wonderful evening. The kids played out back, then with Uncle Steve's train set, we had a great dinner, & then opened up presents. I must admit that when I looked over & saw Emma Kate & Jackson sitting at Aunt Barb's big beautiful dining room table without any highchairs or sippy cups made me realize that my babies are growing up.  They had so much fun opening their gifts & playing right on the spot. Emma Kate got a Cinderella dress, crown, princess shoes, & a talking Cinderella doll. Jackson got a monster truck that does wheelies, Lego set, & playdough Beach set.
Of course, once sister got all dressed up, Jackson wanted to wear a pair of princess heels himself! ha!

Love this shot of Barbie & Emma Kate together. :)

Present time...can you see the excitement?
Yes, that would be Aunt Barbie opening up the princess shoe box with a fork! Not surprising!
Adults are needed to get the toys out of boxes & loaded with batteries.

Waiting so nicely...
Now it's dress up time
She's one happy girl!

Each kid had to try on all 4 pairs of princess shoes.

Oh Jackson! Quite the character!

Sleepy looking mama & her girl :)
Love this happy boy & face!
Brushing her Cinderella's hair is serious business.

My brown eyed beauty

Jackson took a break to check up on the cats.

Fun times!
