Brett & I have wanted to take the kids to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine & decided that Good Friday holiday would be a great time to do it. We went Thursday & got a little bit of water park play time in. That night was interesting (FYI our first time to ever all 4 stay in a hotel room.) Emma Kate had a fever in the middle of the night so we were all awake at 2:45am. Luckily after some meds we all were back asleep at 3:45 until 7:30am. Gotta love having kids, wake up time doesn't determine middle of the night wake time.
Friday we had a good breakfast then off to the water park. You get to use the water park until it closes after you check out. We thought we would stay as long as the kids wanted/tired out. We got there at 10am & stayed until 4:30pm!! 6 1/2 hours of straight water fun! Emma Kate was almost never out of the water. She loved the wave pool. Jackson actually did more sliding in the kiddie area than her.
Needless to say, they loved it & were so worn out! We all slept almost 12 hours when we got home that evening.
Good Friday for sure.

so fun!!!! ugh, sorry about the fever middle of the night. having all 4 in one room is definitely a fear of mine, so you'll have to give me pointers. glad yall had a fun getaway
