10 Months Old

Emma Kate is 10 months old!  I still can't wrap my head around the fact that she'll have a baby brother by the time she turns 11 months old.  Life is full of surprises!
At 10 months old:
- Emma Kate is crawling everywhere!!
- Pulling up & "cruising" on furniture like the couch, ottoman, & table.
- Eating 3 meals a day.
Breakfast- oatmeal with a jar of veggies mixed in & a jar of fruit.
Lunch-  1 (sometimes 2) yogurt containers (strawberry is the fav flavor) & some finger foods like Puffs or cheese puffs.
Dinner- same as breakfast, last week I was trying to mix in meats for dinner instead of the veggie.
- Doing well at picking up finger foods and feeding herself now
- Lots of jabbering and talking.
- Says "dada" all the time and we think "mama" but it sometimes has a "nana" sound to it.
- Goes to bed usually around 7:30pm and wakes up around 7am.  Good sleeper!!
- Takes 2 naps a day. Morning nap is around 9 & then goes down for her afternoon nap between 1& 2.
-  Shakes her head "no"which is the cutest, funniest thing now.  Probably won't be so cute in the future.
-  Laughs, giggles, and gets tickled at different things!!
-  Still has the most amazing smile that makes my heart melt!
-  Stands up in her crib & chatters away after naptime. When I come in her room she starts waving and gets all giddy!
-  Likes to look at buttons or zippers on peoples clothes.
-  Loves Nash and likes to stand with him at the front window.

10 months and such a happy girl!  We couldn't ask for a more wonderful daughter!  Here are some recent pics I wanted to share.

EK now sits in her high chair at the table instead of her bumbo

First time swinging!

She's probably wondering "how will my Mommy fit down this slide?"

loves playing with her Learning Home

new toy, Sophie the Giraffe. She loves it!

This looks like a face she'll make at him when she's a teenager!
