Arkansas Adventure

Friday morning we set off for a long weekend in Arkansas full of many outings. The reason for the trip was one of our friend's who Brett played baseball with @ the U of A was getting married. So we decided to make a long weekend of it with the babies. We don't get up to Fayetteville as often anymore since we've had the kiddos because if we travel it's usually to visit Brett's family in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

It's was a wonderful time!! Friday we got up to Carrie's house (which she generously let us have to ourseleves & spread out). Saturday morning we had breakfast at IHOP & then cruised all around Fayetteville.  We mainly toured around campus (KD house, Baum Stadium, & everywhere in between.) I even got to go to a furniture warehouse sale that a girl I went to college with owns now. I bought 2 fabulous lamps & custom made bulletin board! Then, Gramma (Brett's Mom) came up to babysit while we attended Scott & Kimberly's wedding. We had a really great time seeing old friends from the ole baseball/college days!! Sunday morning we drove up to Neosho, Missouri to visit Grandma Cleo & Brett's extended family on his mom's side. This was Jackson's 1st time to meet his great-grandma!! She made all of us lunch & we had such a nice visit with everyone! We drove back to Fayetteville to have a cookout with our best friends (minus Jamie & Burney boo!) over at Paul's beautiful house. It was the perfect way to end our weekend there! We have such special friends that we consider family it always warms my heart to be together & back up in the place where it all started for us!! :) That's the recap now here are pics.
